A person who stands alone was once afraid of being abandoned
A calm soul was once at war with itself
A loyal person was once selfish.
A person who master their emotions was once controlled by them.
A person who leads today was once followed the crowd
One challenge at a time.
One decision at a time.
That’s why you should never judge someone based on only where they are today.
The person you are becoming is being shaped by everything you are going through right now.
That feeling when you’re exhausted at the end of the day and still refuse to sleep because you haven’t had enough “me time” after surviving the whole day.
i like the concept of soulmates-not a
"you're destined to meet me, and love me" kind of soulmate, but a "i'd pick you, every time." kind of soulmate. a "no matter what happens, and what has happened, i want to go through it with you." kind of soulmate. a "i love you by choice, and you're a blessing, and i'm going to continue thinking about you this way not because i have to but because i want to." kind of soulmate. a "you help me rest easy when everything is difficult" kind of soulmate. a "in every possible outcome, i want you there, to share it with me." kind of soulmate.
So if no one has told you lately:
I’m proud of you.
For holding on.
For getting back up.
For still trying, even when it’s hard.
You are not weak.
You are not behind.
You are human.
And that is enough
Seems like you need this reminder today:
You have made it through things you once thought would break you.
You have carried pain that no one saw.
You have survived days you didn’t think you’d survive.
You have smiled while fighting battles nobody knew about.
And somehow, you’re still here.
For so long, you’ve been the strong one that you forgot something important:
It’s okay to rest.
You don’t have to carry everything alone.
You don’t have to have all the answers.
You don’t have to be strong every second of every day.
@_falsi1ke And what if the other person just doesn’t trust you and enough to have open conversations? What if that his/her nature is like that and we have to make some effort to open them up?
