A pastor, a U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel and a public school guard were among 14 arrested in a March 16-18 Ohio sex trafficking and child exploitation sting.

The arrests were part of an ongoing investigation by ICE @HSIDetroit and its partners into online ads offering sex with kids.

“These allegations are deeply disturbing, especially given that some of the accused held positions of public trust,” said ICE HSI Detroit Acting Special Agent in Charge Jared Murphey.

🚨 16 ARRESTED IN CHILD PREDATOR STING

16 individuals were arrested in North Carolina after an undercover operation targeting online child predators.

Investigators posed as minors online, and suspects believed they were communicating with children under 16.

Authorities filed 80+ charges, including:
• Soliciting a child by computer
• Attempted statutory rape
• Sexual exploitation of a minor
This was a proactive operation designed to stop offenders before real children were harmed.

Marlon Dewayne Martin, 48, from Oklahoma City, sentenced to 20 years in prison for sex trafficking and exploiting a female minor.

🔹 Recruited a homeless minor in September 2023, trafficking her for commercial sex acts through February 2024.
🔹 Produced child sexual abuse material involving the underage victim.
🔹 Pleaded guilty to child sex trafficking on February 7, 2025.

Randall Meck, 52, from Virginia, sentenced to over 15 years in prison for distributing child sexual abuse material and planning sex tourism involving minors.

🔹 Authorities found 180 videos and 560 images of child sexual abuse on Meck’s phone after his arrest at Dulles Airport in December 2024.
🔹 Meck shared abuse material with an undercover agent and provided contacts for child exploitation in the Philippines.
🔹 He admitted to multiple trips to the Philippines between 2021 and 2024 to engage in illicit acts with minors.

🚨 BYRON CENTER MAN ADMITS TO EXPLOITING TEEN GIRL ONLINE

Eric Terrell, 30, from Byron Center, Michigan, pleaded guilty to attempted sexual exploitation of a 15-year-old girl.

🔹 Exchanged nude photos and urged teen to cut his name into her skin.
🔹 Chatted with over 28 minors, some as young as 13, on Discord.
🔹 Possessed video of a naked girl, estimated 11-13 years old.

🗣️ “I should make you cut my name into your skin so you never forget,” Terrell messaged the victim, per court documents.

Jordan Travis Mackey, 46, from Loveland, Ohio, has pleaded guilty to sexually exploiting an 11-year-old and faces 15-22 years in federal prison.
