@drantbradley Actually, they may be on the rise. The Japanese parent wants to retool the food offerings to be more like stores in that country -- good food that may attract customers. And an overhaul. Many of the "closed" stores are transforming into wholesale hubs, + opening new model stores.
@PresbyInn I married my bride in that church many years ago. Beautiful. You wouldn't happen to have a pic of the front with the baby blue and gold star backdrop?
@DoloresGMorris What a deal. Win-win situ. My son's interest in reading harder books led to some of best discussions we had while he was in high school. I credit mama for developing that interest.
@GShaneMorris Sad to see you leave your role behind, but happy for you in your new position. Miss your podcast. Also, we should meet sometime as we're both in the same presbytery and career field (sorta).
@DoloresGMorris Yes. It's pricy. They offered my kids scholarships covering 50%-plus of total cost. My son negotiated for more. Ended up being an econ major, so that rang true. LOL
@DoloresGMorris He should check out Covenant College. (shameful plug!) Solid Christian liberal arts with a good philosophy track. Or is it tract? LOL It's not for everyone, but I like their "secret sauce" of studying in community.
@jeretics Hey Jerry. I’m a ghostwriter, former financial journalist and ruling elder for 30 years. Let me know how I can guide you or support. Even just a phone discussion for free. I want PCA folk to be excellent connectors to their particular audience. I want them to be aware of pitfalls
@presbycast Hi BI. Do you have (or know of ) a running list of overtures I can track in the cloud somewhere? Looking for simple summaries. I thought you had one last year, but I see it was for BCO amendment adoptions. Thanks!
@GShaneMorris Whoa. Did you read the Foxfire books growing up? I did and tried tanning as a young teen, but it failed miserably and my mom ended my budding 'mountain man' career quite abruptly.
