The problem with this lazy line of thought disguised as sound logic is that it exposes a disturbing lack of self-awareness.
Why is Isẹ̀sẹ̀ being held to a higher burden of proof than every other belief system here?
If the failure of Isẹ̀sẹ̀ priests to rescue the victims is supposedly evidence that their beliefs are false, then doesn't that same standard indict your own Abrahamic faith as well? Where are the pastors, prophets, imams, sheikh’s and alfas? Why haven't they gone to rescue them either?
You cannot apply one standard to a belief system you dislike and a completely different one to the one you subscribe to.
Have a nice day sir.
Getting a visa approved but still not being guaranteed entry is one of the wildest things about immigration systems.
A visa basically means: “You’re allowed to travel to the border and ask for entry.”
A border officer can still say no at the airport.
Crazy concept when you think about it.
I’ve tweeted it before but I’ll say it again, everyone I know that traveled out 2-4 years there life has gotten significantly better in a way that might not have happened if they were still in Nigeria.
