#Vanilla is an #orchid with many different species growing across the tropics — including right here on the #OsaPeninsula! At the #OsaConservationCampus, we are interested in understanding the potential of using these #native vanilla species in #agroforestry systems.

Our #TropicalForest Restoration Team is consistently evaluating the effectiveness of its restoration strategies. Working w/ a network of partnering farms, they measure planted #trees, the impact of maintenance work and the progress of natural #regeneration in #reforested sites.
