@nickfrancis Agree! I have had arguments put to me that it helps bring on bigger customers who can now trust your company won’t be gone after 2 yrs and they would have to change their workflow again.

@ArlanWasHere A VC should always encourage startup founders for starting, give suggestions on how they could improve, be honest on why they won’t invest now. This doesn’t mean the VC has to say it won’t succeed, I don’t see how saying that helps anyone.

@jonathannen The first paragraph should mention what the exciting challenge is… eg making the mess of human communication into something sublime and simple. What does before and after look like. The role also sounds like a product manager as well?

@PaulBassat Paul, does it also mean young people are bringing innovation into large established companies such as banking, or will they replace those companies? Would be interesting to see the data on numbers of people, and the economic output of these startups. Is it really a revolution?

Sydney is still the Australian leader for startups, but I sense all the momentum is in Melbourne. Brisbane was exciting 3yrs ago but has been left behind, Adelaide has done really well for Space and other select industries. Just gut feeling, am I wrong?

@mattallen Super interesting concept, I can see it ensuring all founders have an aligned vision and pathway. But could get tricky if say goal = cash flow positive, but then decide VC funded growth is the way. How do you change the esop?
