I can tell you right now Higher Education is about to get what it deserves. They have knowingly and intentionally taken actions they knew were wrong and selfish but insisted they “deserved” it so they did it anyway. Now our children and grandchildren will pay the costs!
BREAKING NEWS
GOP Sen. Lisa Murkowski has flipped her vote and will now vote YES on President Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill" - the legislation likely now has enough votes to pass the Senate:
“Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) told us that the GOP has the votes now to pass the One Big Beautiful Bill and that is with Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski that just changed the last couple of minutes.”
“Mullin tells us that the GOP already has the bill text ready to go; they’re just waiting on the Democrats to finish huddling.”
Millennials started their careers with the deck stacked against them.
Research shows they have finally started to make up some of the lost ground. But those who quit their jobs now without having another one lined up risk falling even further behind.

Younger millennials really timed it perfect. Graduated just in time to get established in their careers before they killed off the entry level job market and flooded the young talent pipeline with a technology that makes them dumber
a perfect storm of economic, political, and technological forces — college is expensive, anyone can vibe code, some can teach themselves w ai — is driving young men to circumvent college entirely. (tech elites are in on it, too.) 2/ https://t.co/xSENDojLBV
When bachelor’s degree holders aged 20–24 face a 6.6% unemployment rate outpacing the national average by over 2 percentage points it’s a signal that the education to employment pipeline is breaking down. For the first time in over three decades, the unemployment gap between young graduates and the general population is this wide.
What’s worse is that’s it’s happening during a supposed “soft landing” period with unemployment still near multi-decade lows. That means the issue is systemic. Young grads are increasingly mismatched to labor market demand, stuck between credential inflation and the erosion of entry-level training pathways. Degrees are no longer a ticket in they’re a toll to compete for underpaid jobs that offer little upward mobility.
This isn’t a Gen Z problem. It’s a failure of institutional adaptation: universities, employers, and policymakers have failed to update the transition architecture between education and employment. The outcome? Rising youth idleness, stagnant real wages, and political disillusionment. Ignore this cohort at your own peril, they’re the labor, voters, and consumers of tomorrow. And they’re entering the economy already alienated.
The Navy handpicked my son few weeks ago and plucked him from shore duty with no details or information and with very little notice flew him to a military ship somewhere in the waters around the world. I knew that was not normal and that something was wrong. Then all this started

"Are you prepared for a protracted war?" CBS News' @charliecbs asked Defense Sec. Pete Hegseth following "Operation Midnight Hammer”, the overnight U.S. military strike targeting three Iranian nuclear sites. Hegseth said the strikes were designed to be overwhelming, but with their scope "intentionally limited." https://t.co/9bjqeaOcz2
If Iran is sufficiently weakened from U.S. strikes, President Trump will have delivered a blow against a longtime adversary. But if Iran does not agree to peace, Trump opened the door to a much deeper and potentially longer conflict. https://t.co/6hDL0XlvSK
We really need to thank and even appoint to a special position in authority so Jeff Selingo can continue to impact positively the future of universities and colleges. This man has been legitimately representing the American people during this higher education restructuring
Almost 25 years after I was placed in lockdown in my Junior year because of Columbine, I’m standing here waiting for my son, a Junior, to be released from lockdown.
Mapping a large coastal glacier in Alaska revealed that its bulk sits below sea level and is undercut by channels, making it vulnerable to accelerated melting in an already deteriorating coastal habitat. https://t.co/pnjhGPlciT
THIS is the man who was just arrested for child sex crimes. Was he in drag reading in libraries?
No. Surprise, surprise, he was a YOUTH PASTOR. For a church. In Texas.
But was he the only pastor in America arrested recently for this charge? No. Not even close.
There have been two more cases. In just the last week alone. In the SAME COUNTY.
I'm sure now Greg Abbott, Ron DeSantis and every other Republican will completely shift their focus to banning right-wing Christians from going anywhere near kids.
Because clearly they should leave those of us in the LGBT+ community alone.

We look back at when Abby Wambach had this to say about winning the 2016 ESPYS Icon Award and the pay gap between men’s and women’s pro sports.
