I woke up to the realization that this did in fact happen.
I keep watching this and every time he turns that puzzle around it keeps being me.
I can't find the words, and I've tried, to explain what I experienced in that moment.
I was thinking that it sounds like he's describing me, but I was like there's no way that's the case. And then there came a point where my eyes welled up with tears and I started to think that this might really be me.
I knew that I didn't apply, I know that I'm described as wholesome, and I knew that I had sent out a tweet, but I was still thinking there's no way that he is paying attention to me.
And then he said, this person goes by the name of "I" and then the board turned and I lost it.

I got rejected by 30–40 medical schools.
Two weeks later, my entire life changed.
One of the greatest lessons my wife and I have learned over nearly 20 years of marriage is this:
Don’t run away from hard. Run toward it.

It was such a joy getting to spend time with Joe and Jill, George and Laura, and Bill and Hillary last week. Barack and I will always be grateful for your constant friendship and support of our family over the years.
(And George, thanks for the mints!)
The school isn’t going to let me walk today. They believe it would create a disturbance and interrupt the graduation ceremony, so they’ve decided not to allow it.
I still graduated and we will open my diploma on stream when I receive it
More than 40 years ago, I arrived in Chicago in search of an idea. I was a young man looking for purpose, who believed deeply in America, was inspired by the Civil Rights Movement, and wanted to be a part of something larger. The America I believed in was one where everyone has opportunity, everyone is seen, everyone belongs—because that was an America that had a place for me, too.
