I found a playground in Bamenda today.

Big.

Full of equipment.

And completely empty.

Then I touched the metal.

And understood.

But here's what really broke me — even if it wasn't burning hot, I don't think the kids would be out here anyway.

Because kids here don't get to be kids.

Five-year-olds carrying giant water bottles up hills on their heads.

Schools with no desks, no lab equipment, no supplies for the trades they're being taught.

A crisis that's been going on for 10 years that the world has decided to ignore.

And you know what the most disorienting part is?

These kids are SMILING.

No complaints.

Just joy.

Just grace.

While being completely cut off from the resources the rest of the world takes for granted — blacklisted from grants, invisible to media, forgotten by the systems that could actually help.

The Pope visited.

I hope that changes something.

But I'm not waiting.

We are building the Royal Echo Village in Bafut to create real, lasting opportunity for this community.

But right now — today — this place needs basic resources.

The kids here deserve a childhood.
The families here deserve better.
This crisis deserves a spotlight.
