@newsmaxaus This story needs more context. Why does this ‘small group’ not want to pay their respects to the diggers? Why the reference ‘Christian’ group? Individual perspectives may vary but there is absolutely no widespread opposition among Christians to honoring ANZACs.
🇦🇺 Early voting has started in Queensland, and I placed the minor parties first.
But why? ⬇️
Preferential voting means that if your first choice doesn't win, then your vote will be passed down to your next choice until someone does win.
(Parties can't decide preferences, this is a myth.)
Even if you strategically wanted the Liberals to win instead of Labor, you can still place the minor parties before the liberals.
The reason is that judging by probability, minor party candidates typically won't win. So your vote will probably be used for liberals anyway.
👉 The REAL wasted vote is to vote for the liberals first. As that wastes an opportunity to get a minor party candidate in, instead of the majors.
Only in the UK and USA can you waste your vote doing this, but not in Australia because of preferential voting.
Vote minor parties first. 🇦🇺

Victoria is experiencing its worst blackout in history.
The state’s biggest power station shut down.
Half a million homes plunged into darkness.
Solar and batteries failed to fill the void.
Where were the renewables when we needed them ?
