I noticed that many people do not know the difference between Bitcoin wallet types
How to get a Legacy wallet address 👇
1. Go to Unisat, Settings
2. Address Type
3. Legacy
1. Native Segwit
Native SegWit uses a more efficient scripting language (Segregated Witness) to reduce transaction size.
improvement over Legacy transactions in terms of scalability and reduced transaction fees.
2. Nested Segwit
is an interim solution that combines features of both Legacy and Native SegWit.
It allows Legacy wallets to send funds to SegWit addresses while still benefiting from lower fees
3. Taproot
The latest Bitcoin address format is designed to enhance privacy, scalability, and scripting capabilities. Addresses in this format start with "bc1p."Ordinals address.
4. Legacy
Legacy transactions are less space-efficient and can lead to higher transaction fees due to their larger size.
Tldr; UniSat Wallet users choose Taproot or Native Segwit.
