.@TeamYouTube, legitimate 2D animated horror channels are being unfairly demonetized under the “Misleading Family Content” policy, despite clearly creating horror content for mature audiences.

These channels are not presenting themselves as children’s entertainment. Their titles, thumbnails, descriptions, themes, and storytelling clearly communicate that the content is horror-focused and not intended for young children.

Animation is a medium, not a children’s category. It is used across horror, crime, suspense, psychological storytelling, and many other mature genres.

Each video requires countless hours of work including original writing, voice acting, illustration, character design, animation, editing, and production. Demonetization has a devastating financial impact not only on channel owners, but also on the writers, artists, animators, narrators, and editors who rely on this work for their income.

We make every effort to label our content appropriately. Our video and channel descriptions state that the content is intended for mature audiences, and every video is marked “Not Made for Kids.” Our viewers understand the genre and eagerly wait for each new animated story.

We are asking @TeamYouTube to conduct proper manual reviews, reconsider these demonetization decisions, and improve how animated horror content is evaluated.

Adult-oriented animation should not be penalized simply because it is illustrated.

Taehyung has now been assigned to 2nd corps of the Special Mission task force and will be deployed to the unit on Feb 8. The 2nd Corps (nicknamed “Double Dragons”) is a unit in charge of the most evil military demarcation line border area in the entire army. The 2nd Corps, a corps known to destroy the knees and ankles of countless soldiers.

The location of the unit is notoriously brutal; as Taehyung’s unit is placed in the valley between twin peaks, so called twin dragons(쌍용), it is very difficult to reach the unit because of the rough mountainous terrain which make the unit size small. Although all military units have their own ups and downs, his unit particularly faces iron fences against the North which has countless stairways along the fences for the guard duty (complete armed guard). With heavy gears and arms the stairways make the duty extra difficult so that it is one of the place where people avoid to be placed to serve.
