I was honoured to lead last night’s fifth Guthanna na Saoirse event where our guest speaker was Jeremy Corbyn MP.
Jeremy shared his expert opinion on global imperialism, international law, human rights, media influence and hostility, and the importance of building solidarity.
Thank you to Martina Anderson and Daithí Fitzgerald for organising the event.
The #TWIP debate summed up Irish politics perfectly - all talk, no accountability. Ex-Fianna Fáiler Noel Thomas got the soft-touch treatment while Mark Lohan was constantly cut off and denied the chance to properly answer. Galway West can send a message to government. Vote SF
👉Housing is the defining issue for our generation - and it’s being ignored.
I spoke with @EOBroin about it.
The solutions are there. What’s missing is political will. That has to change.
🏠If you’re in your 20s or 30s, these new rental laws could directly affect whether you can afford to move out, pursue new work, or build a life on your own terms
This is a political choice - and young people will feel the consequences.
🚨Renters are being hammered - especially students and young people.
This rent hike bill means €2,000–€4,000 extra a year for many across the state.
We can’t just accept this. We need to fight back. Turn your anger into action - get involved today!
Our generation is breaking the glass ceiling.
🇮🇪 This presidential election is the first step, to keep Fianna Fáil & Fine Gael out of the Áras and to get them out of government
👉 A new president. For new politics. For a new and United Ireland. #YouthforConnolly#ÓSF
🇮🇪 The momentum for Irish Unity is in full flow!
Young people have the opportunity to be part of the generation that reunites this island ✊
It’s time to join the movement that can deliver the dream of 1916.

It’s cruel that 33 Palestinian kids and their mentors are denied visas for a 2-week trip to Ireland.
When I was in Palestine, I saw the hope these young kids have - their dream of life beyond occupation.
They’re just kids. Let them play.
Let @GAA_Palestine in 🇮🇪🤝🇵🇸 #LetThemPlay
This government has made one thing clear - they’re doing everything they can to push young people out of the country.
From housing failures to broken promises on college fees, it’s young people and struggling families who are paying the price.
@radiokerry
The govt is doing everything it can to drive young people out of Ireland. Now it’s an extra €1,000 just to go to college if you can even find accommodation.
If we don’t vote them out next GE, we’ll lose a generation. Our future depends on something different, something better.
