POLE TESTING starts Monday, June 26th.
Starting the week of June 26th EXO will be out checking poles for Dakota Valley Electric; if you see an EXO vehicle in your area be assured they are OK and working with us.
All accounts, except one NE of Oakes, have been restored.
The conditions have not been favorable to quick restoral times.

Our crews are back out working this morning but the heavy, wet, icy conditions are slowing progress down.
The majority of our outages are still in the area south of Milnor to the SD border.

Dakota Valley Electric will be doing a LOAD CONTROL TEST on Thursday, December 1st from 7:15 AM to 10:25 am.
We will be in FULL CONTROL INCLUDING HEAT LOADS, that’s 100% control, make sure your backup heat is ready to go.

Last weekend a massive storm hit western ND, rain; ice; heavy, wet snow; & 60+ mph wind gusts downed miles of power lines & poles. Thousands of consumers are still without power.
Seven DVEC Linemen are out helping with restoral at Mountrail-Williams & Burke-Divide.
Summer Control period begins May 1st and runs through September 30th.
If you have controlled heat / AC it will be subject to control periods and the rate goes from the Off-Peak rate of 4.5 cents to the Straight Electric Heat rate of 6 cents per kilowatt hour.
The Ellendale Substation outage has been restored as of 12:30 pm; if you are on that substation and are still without power please call in and let us know.
The Ellendale Substation has been out of power since around 11:00. This is a power supplier issue and they are aware of it; they have crews out patrolling the line but we have no restoral time as of right now.
