WOMEN REMOVED FROM THEIR POSTS AT THE EIFFEL TOWER, SO A RELIGIOUS GROUP WOULDN’T SEE THEM!!
Disgusting.
They hid the women.
At the Eiffel Tower. A national monument.
Female staff told to leave their posts, stay out of sight, get replaced by men so a religious delegation wouldn’t have to look at them.
Made invisible. In France in the 21st Century what a joke this isn’t the Middle Ages.
Marine Le Pen has commented and she is right:
“In France, we will never accept that the presence of women be limited. All light must be shed on what happened during this visit to the Eiffel Tower.”
Agreed. Whoever signed that off should be named and sacked.
Left-wing governments will lecture you about women’s rights all day then hide the women the second a Guests religion and rules collide with ours.
Why are we appeasing this? Who voted for women to be made invisible in Paris?
This is the test, every time. Your rules, or theirs. Your women in public, or told to disappear so a Religion that isn’t your country’s own isn’t offended.
They keep pushing it. Little surrenders. Then they call you extreme for noticing.
If I was worried about people comparing me to 1930s Germany, my next move probably wouldn't be to shut down all criticism on the national broadcasting service
It's an honor to be selected as one of TIME's Women of the Year. I would like to dedicate this to Gazal Ranjkesh, Nilooar Aghaei, Elaheh Tavakolian and many of the brave Iranian women who joined the protests where security forces shot and blinded them in one eye. I want to dedicate it to brave men of Iran, who also lost their eye for the crime of supporting their sisters.
I'd like to thank TIME for the privilege of being chosen during one of the most pivotal moments in Iran's history, and the women of Iran for demanding freedom and equality and saying NO to the Islamic Republic's gender-apartheid regime.
This is a recognition of the revolution led by women supported by men called

My on-stage interviewer in NZ asked my views on their ridiculous science education policy. Spectator happened to ask me to do their Diary same week. The Times picked it up but my NZ friends are betting local media won’t dare. Can Kiwi readers help?

Someone I know took these pics of this guy using a battery-powered angle-grinder to cut a lot and steal at bike at Britomart. They said he's around the area quite often and in this case had mates looking out for him.
