Watched the GTA 6 Extended Look on a YouTube stream.

Streamers can stay mad about the leaks.
The official look just confirmed they were real.

Cinematics looked good.
The second you take control, the performance falls off. Hitching. Dropped frames. It struggles to keep up.

What they showed still felt like sanitized GTA Online slop with a prettier coat of paint.
A few things looked solid. Not enough to justify that price tag.

26 minutes of safe, approved footage.
Just enough to get the bootlickers wet.
For everyone else, the red flags we’ve been talking about just got confirmed.

Some people want you to think this is a morally complex situation.

I firmly disagree. It's actually very simple.

To offer some legitimate criticism. It is entirely reasonable to question how Cyberleek actions are presented as a protest against the destruction of physical media.

For the unaware. Cyberleek as asked financial compensation to share the leaks via crypto payement.

However just like anything in our capitalist society. Time is money. So asking for compensation for all the time, effort and skills for his actions could be presented as reasonable to an extent.

What is unquestionable is that : Rockstar deserve this.

Just 2 days ago, Rockstar pressured discord into giving them an entire city worth of personal and private data.

People who have nothing to do with any of this.

The company who's biggest financial project is leaking is currently in the possession of this data.

Not only is this an egregious overreach and abuse of power, the idea that this information is safe with them is preposterous.

Since when do companies have the right to wield power equal to the police, a judge, the state for the sake of a "private investigation".

I fear we are walking toward a dystopian cyberpunk like future. We are only a couple step away from corporate assassination, if this is not considered unacceptable behavior and condemned by everyone.

Rockstar is the tip of the spear for a new wave of anti-consumer and anti-employee practices in Gaming.

Where did all the money the game costed really went to ?

Why is this entry so much more expensive than the last one if nothing of substance changed ?

I want Cyberleek to win.

Not because I really care wether or not GTA VI is good or bad. I'm not the target audience.

I want him to win. Because I want Rockstar and the video game industry to lose.

Since the end of the lockdown. All of the best video games have been from indie studios or asian studios. Outsiders of the AAA western environment.

Offering richer, better, fair priced games.

And the response of these big studio is to milk the players more. Treat the customers worse. Treat their employee as expendable and replaceable.

I want the current video game industry to die.
