For 14 years, the Conservatives ran this country into the ground.

They mishandled Covid, failed to deal properly with the consequences of the Ukraine war, wasted extraordinary amounts of money and left Britain buried under debt.

Millions of people then convinced themselves that Labour was the answer.

Some of us had already watched Labour govern for 13 years and knew better. A different-coloured rosette does not mean a different establishment. We have more than a century of evidence showing that Labour and the Conservatives will blame one another while continuing the same cycle of borrowing, spending and decline.

Barely two years into Labour, gross government debt is now above £3.1 trillion, public sector net debt is hovering just below £3 trillion, and Britain is spending roughly £110 billion a year simply servicing it.

Yet somehow, there are still people who spent 14 years attacking Tory failure while defending everything Labour is doing now.

You cannot honestly believe the Conservatives wrecked the country and then pretend Labour are doing a good job simply because your team is wearing red.

It baffles me that anyone can support either of these and keep a straight face.
Reform UK have not ruined this country, these two have for 100 years.
