@937theFan This is a case where the inmates are running the asylum. You know full well that the agents of these players are trying to extend out these careers beyond Pittsburgh. They’re looking at the next contract. Maybe it’s time to get the max for Skeens. Herschel Walker trade?
@DanZangrilli THANK YOU for your honesty regarding The Pirates. Too often flagship stations try to protect the client. The point this season was lost will be the Carmen Mlodzinski fiasco. This is not the same team after June 1st. Who is running this team? Great question, it’s not Don Kelly
@ThePoniExpress Three loses shouldn’t cause concern, but with Lowe and Griffen out, Cruz is hurt and your Aces are pitching like mere mortals, that blown game last Wednesday looms large as the turning point of the season.
@AustinRBechtold This is a bad look for everybody involved, but, I put more blame on Kelly and Cherrington. Simple conversation. This stinks but we need you in the bullpen right now. We promise You will be a starter for the Pirates or traded to a team where you can start after the season.
@ThePoniExpress This is a bad look for all involved, but, I put more blame on Kelly and Cherrington. Simple conversation. With the kid. This stinks but we need you in the bullpen right now. Yeam promise. You will be a starter for the Pirates or traded to a team where you can start next year
@JMackey_PGH This is a bad look for everybody involved, but, I put more blame on Kelly and Cherrington. Simple conversation. This stinks but we need you in the bullpen right now. Our promise. You will be a starter for the Pirates or traded to a team where you will start after the season.
@ThePoniExpress I’m actually glad he’s not handling this well. That’s a competitor. Did his job and did not get the promotion. It’s life kid. Based on what I’ve seen of Bubba Chandler, he is immature and doesn’t have the mental make up to handle a demotion to the bullpen. Chandler’s a problem.
@ThePoniExpress There are some teams that operate on a completely diffrent paradigm than others. Jerry Jones would be petty enough to do this. Did the Steelers a favor. Their culture is not made to handle a “HIM” always open receiver.
@ThePoniExpress How fragile is this guy’s ego? We’re gonna sit him against lefties, wink wink nod nod. Would that have that been something discussed during spring training. Lot of respect for Don Kelly in doing this. I hope Cruz takes the HINT that his time in Pittsburgh has an expiration date.
I respect your opinion. From my perspective, every year draftniks and GM’s over sell the available quarterback talent. This kid couldn’t beat out Jalen Milroe the prior year, and the experts expect him to be drafted six rounds ahead of him the following year based on what we saw at Alabama last year? And as always, bad football organizations will feel pressured to take the leap. It is why those same organizations consistently draft early. I’m not sold on Mendoza either. He wasn’t even in the discussion preseason. No one makes that kind of jumped that quick. But this is just my opinion.
That about right. The Steelers are literally going with a zero quarterback model. They have felt that if you put enough of a team around somebody a game manager can win for them. Occasionally, you’ll have Neil O’Donnell, Kordell Stewart in even years and once a generation, Terry Bradshaw and Ben Roethlisburger. Once a generation comes when they actually have a losing season and get a reasonably good draft pick. Since 10 wins is “The Standard”, we’re kind of stuck in mediocrity.
@RapSheet@TomPelissero What I’m hearing is that Baltimore are real scumbags when it comes to contracts. I think Max Crosby has a lawsuit because if his health is not that bad they cost him millions of dollars.
@Mike_Pence Sir, your bitterness for President Trump far out weighs your love of the American people. I hope you’re happy over the damage you’ve done for our nation. You blind angry stupid old man
@ThePoniExpress Ozuna is Baseball’s version of Kordel Stewart. When he’s on, he is in the MVP conversation, when he’s not, it’s bad. Good thing, it’s an even year we might be OK.
