Yes, you can use it on VPS and do the mentioned task. However, to get USA IPs you would need to either use the VPN mode or the Proxy mode.

In this version, we focused on improving the performance of the bot. We'd made big changes on the bot's core since version 1.4.3. So, improving and debugging the new core was our priority.
