The AYK Solidarity Rally and the Call I Received
I was aware that AYK planned to hold a solidarity rally in support of my fourth term in office. However, when a government official called to inform me, I was genuinely surprised.
“Honourable, wallahi, earlier as I was passing by, I thought it was a riot, so many youths gathered in large numbers. Then I realized it was a solidarity rally in your support,” he said.
I replied, “Honourable, they are good citizens of KIK, sir.”
He added, “I even told my driver that you must have spent a lot to mobilize these young people. But to my surprise, my driver said they are mostly people you helped secure jobs for at both federal and state levels. Honourable, kana mana wayau a siyasa.”
I chose not to respond to that remark; I simply smiled.
To my AYK Ambassadors, I am deeply humbled by your sincere support and truly grateful for your turnout. I may not be able to repay this show of solidarity, but, in sha Allah, Allah will reward you on my behalf.
May Allah see us through this journey and grant us success, if it is for the good people of KIK.
Yesterday, I was the Special Guest of Honour at the unveiling and naming ceremony of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors @NIQSlive head office building, dedicated to Joseph Olusegun Ajanlekoko; now officially known as QS J. Segun Ajanlekoko House.
Today, I proudly hosted His Excellency, Gov @dikko_radda, at the Katsina Local Government APC stakeholder engagement meeting as part of his ongoing tour across 34 LGAs.
@Miqdad_Jnr I know you will not divert such sum meant for prayer to something else, we have been seeing how you dedicate yourself and time toward the developmental project with Katsina LGA. Maybe the KTSG approved the money but LGA yet to receive them..
GOOD NEWS: Alhamdulillah!
