On 10/21/2024, at approximately 1:15 p.m., the Orlando Police Department responded to the commercial plaza located within the 5800 block of Lake Underhill Road in reference to a shooting. Officers located a female suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Witnesses advised the suspect, who was the victim's husband, fled the scene in a vehicle. Armando Verdecia Carralero (DOB 01/12/1970) was quickly identified as a suspect, and the information was released to other Florida agencies. Carralero was located by the Indian River Sheriff’s Office and was taken into custody without incident.

The deceased victim has been identified as Yuneisy Labrada Rodriguez (DOB 5/17/1980).

Carralero is charged with First Degree Murder with a Firearm. OPD is not looking for any additional suspects at this time.
