एससी आरक्षण का विभाजन होना चाहिए या नहीं, इस पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट में आज बहस हुई. इसमें हस्तक्षेप करते हुए एडवोकेट @nitinmeshram_ ने तर्क दिया कि एससी आरक्षण का आधार पिछड़ापन नहीं है. यह आरक्षण संविधान लिखे जाने से पहले से सैटल है और ये 16(4) से नहीं निकला है. ये ओबीसी आरक्षण की तरह नहीं है.

I admire Nehru a lot. The big problem with him was that he didn't allow OBC reservation and never implemented Article 340. Another big problem was that he didn't allow SC/ST reservation in IITs. Otherwise, he was a nice person. I adore him. 🙏🏽

She urged the Chief Justice of India, Union Minister of Law and Justice, Judges and other stakeholders to devise a system to deal with such cases where verdicts are not implemented. She highlighted that the people who have spent their time, energy and money to fight the case for years should get justice in real sense.

In Delhi, there is a small group of approximately 50 lawyers who charge up to ₹25 lakh for a single court appearance.

These lawyers do not have superior legal knowledge, but they have close relationships with judges, and in some cases, they are related to them.

As a result, they are able to secure immediate hearings, which further boosts their success. Additionally, their high fees and success are partly attributed to caste networks.

The group often socializes by dining together, and you may spot them at upscale locations like Hotel Taj Man Singh.

Why Upanayana/Janeu/Yagyopavit is discriminatory?

1. Only Upper Caste Hindu men are allowed to wear the sacred thread.

2. Shudras/OBCs are traditionally excluded from undergoing Upanayana. Shudras constitute approximately 52% of the Hindu population.

3. SC/ST are also excluded from this ritual due to their status.

4. Bestowing an upper caste innocent child with a caste marker that signifies their superiority over others is a problematic practice. That hierarchical, hegemonic idea becomes part of his primary socialisation.
