The laughs the smiles are real and genuine and so is the messaging !!! I’m so happy to be at the 10th @BC_IROC and it’s truly like a family reunion to me. I was a young man at the first few and have grown up with the help of all who have participated since 2007

Day 2 of the 2026 Indigenous Resource Opportunities Conference delivered powerful panels, keynotes & partnerships showcasing Indigenous leadership in BC's resource sector. Thank you to our speakers, sponsors, delegates & all who participated.
As BC’s Minister of Forests, my partnerships with First Nations is invaluable.
They have stewarded these lands for millennia, and are full partners in this work.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – First Nations are driving forestry.
Here we go!!!! 10th in person BC Indigenous Resource Opportunities Conference !!! Started off with a chat with my friend @Dave_Eby and have dozens of amazing speakers telling stories of collaboration and opportunity!!!! So far down the path of reconciliation !! #bcpoli#fnpoli
Are you blind to the development and opportunity that Tsawassen Treaty brought to the region? Niisga would not have the LNG opportunity without their treaty the Maanuutlth treaty is opening up opportunities on the west coast that all benefit from.
Absolutely insane to see MLAs from the BC conservatives voting in favour of this
Given the crisis we're in, this should not be tolerated. It's genuinely like being a traitor or saboteur to the province
We are doing dole amazing thinks around building a conservation economy in n the Great Bear Rainforest and Sea. Truly proud to be part of the leadership team as Chair of the Board. https://t.co/JULZSOEE4U
RCMP and Indian Agents took most of my moms older brothers and Sisters out of the community then paperwork was done after the fact so the schools could be funded
The claim that FN kids were ripped from their homes to be put in residential schools is a lie.
There was an application process. Parents had to apply to the school.
The cases without an application were child welfare cases to save kids from abuse & neglect at home.
“I’m tough but I’m fair I put 2 of my sons through college and one through the wall.” He was awesome as Thornton Melon’s driver/bodyguard Lou in #Backtoschool
This athletic looking man served a tour of duty in the United States Marine Corps from 1957 to 1959; while in the Marine Corps, he boxed regularly, winning 32 of 34 boxing bouts.
He went on to be a popular character actor in many movies and tv series, as well as a much loved supporting character in one of the most popular movie franchises of the late 70s. That franchise made sequels reaching all the way to 2006 in which he acted in each of the original movie's subsequent sequels.
Do you know who this young boxer is?
BREAKING: The B.C. Conservatives dodged a bullet in my opinion after its leadership election organizing committee unanimously voted NOT to disqualify Kerry-Lynne Findlay from the race a day before voting begins.
The decision came today after curiously timed, unproven allegations regarding the integrity of Findlay’s federal campaign last year led to an investigation that Findlay claims she was never personally informed of.
Findlay’s team denies the allegations and claims to have heard about them through media.
While more time is needed to know whether rules were broken in her last campaign, I believe that had they disqualified her without knowing such, a mass exodus of support from party members would have followed due to a popular belief among many members, which is that Findlay is the most conservative candidate running.
LEOC’s statement below.
Voting begins tomorrow and concludes April 29.
I am so proud to be one of the founders of this conference. This is our 10th event since 2009 (We had 90) and been front row for so many amazing stories and partnerships that have and will continue to pave a path towards Reconciliation. This year we will have +500!!!! #bcpoli

Today is McHappy Day!
Today, a portion of proceeds from every menu item sold at McDonald’s supports Ronald McDonald House Charities, who ensure that families with sick children stay together during difficult times.
My staff and I enjoyed a great lunch from the McDonald’s in downtown Ottawa, and we encourage you to stop by your local McDonald’s to show your support.
The Breakfast Club (1985) ending with Don’t You (Forget About Me) blasting while Bender throws his fist in the air is one of the most iconic final shots of the entire ‘80s.
Maybe we should take you to a “boarding school” where you only get to speak that language and beaten and starved till you get it right ???!! You should be ok your star candidate says they were like resorts

We weren’t allowed to vote till 1960 even our ppl who served in ww2 could not so let’s get some perspective folks. Dallas Brodie will be ok. There are 100s of places in her riding for her fear mongering
Imagine if the person was FN who wanted to hold a meeting and was denied for security reasons, further, that the VPD had no concerns. I think you and many would be demanding answers. Little personal jibes about names make you look even more childish.
I will not allow the @VSB39 decision to de-platform me to stand without a thorough investigation into the decision-making process. The VSB latest response cited "security concerns" but no concerns were raised with the Vancouver Police Department. I demand answers and accountability from the Vancouver School Board Trustees.
