Dallas Real-Time Crime helps more of #DFW access #Dallas, #Arlington, #FtWorth & #Mesquite Police Active & Incident data, maps, resources. @ us to share on app
What fascinated me most wasn’t crime.
It was the movement of an entire city in real time.
How activity clusters.
How response patterns build.
How certain areas suddenly spike with incidents while others go quiet.
Most people only hear about major incidents after helicopters are already overhead or clips start circulating online.
Talk Dallas Crime was built to visualize the city as activity unfolds.
Open the app and instantly see:
• where activity is building
• which incidents are escalating
• where traffic disruptions are forming
• how response patterns shift across Dallas in real time
The map behaves like a live system — not a static feed.
Areas compress and expand dynamically.
Priority incidents surface automatically.
The city reorganizes itself while you watch.
Not a social feed.
Not scanner chaos.
A real-time city activity layer for Dallas.
The newest update focused heavily on making the experience feel faster, cleaner, and more immersive:
— smoother rendering
— sharper interactions
— better live refresh behavior
— cleaner movement across the map
Built independently in Dallas using live public data.

Karmelo Anthony Trial Update-
There were 600 prospective jurors.
12 have been seated with 6 alternates also selected.
Karmelo is accused of stabbing Austin Metcalf to death at a Texas Highschool track meet.
Karmelo is claiming self defense. Austin is dead.
Why did Karmelo have a knife at a track meet and why was Karmelo under another school's tent?
We will find out. Opening statements begin tomorrow morning.
No cameras are allowed in the courtroom.
We will be reporting on this case daily.

Most “crime apps” look like they were built in 2009.
So I rebuilt the experience from scratch.
New update for Talk Dallas Crime:
• cleaner live map
• smarter incident clustering
• faster interaction zooming
• better real-time sorting
• smoother UI across the app
Built independently in Dallas using public data + real-time mapping.
