@DJSnM About an hour and a half later some friends in KS and Oklahoma saw a really cool spiral in the sky from what I assume was 2nd stage burn for de-orbiting?
After the Sun, the nearest and fourth nearest star aren't visible to the naked eye, and the second and third nearest stars blend into one. So of the four nearest stars, we see only one.
