SMD is a volunteer organization made up of medical personnel and logisticians, dedicated to providing care to participants of civil rights protests in DFW.
Street Medics Dallas is anti-bigotry in all forms. We are against oppression. We have volunteers from all intersections, as the community we serve does, and as an organization, we honor those intersections.
#StreetMedicsDallas
We have 2 food and supply distributions happening in March.
On March 12, we’ll be serving downtown with @DallasMedics , and on March 19, we’ll be back downtown with @BastardChildSus.
You can donate money on Venmo @ punk-medic-services. Message us if you have physical donations
The city of Dallas is sweeping 2 large unhoused camps on Friday.
They are in need of contractors bags, duct tape/sharpies, 6-man tents, bedrolls, tarps, lighters, lanterns, sleeping bags, blankets, butane, stoves, etc.
We can help get any items to the crews helping move.
Dallas, Punks Feed People is for real, for real getting back to it.
On Dec. 4th, at the library downtown, we’re gonna feed people hot breakfast. There’s gonna be a free store. @DallasMedics will be doing community care and health checks.
Some of the most revolutionary work street medics do here in Dallas is care for our unhoused neighbors. When the city discards their medication for the crime of being homeless, however, it sets them back to square one, severely affects their health, and puts them at risk of dying
Organizers are reporting police presence at the camp at Coombs Street, please pull up 2400 Coombs Street, Dallas, TX. We have more protection in numbers
Bodies are still needed at the Coombs Street camp to help move people. This is an emergent need, Dallas. The City has backed down and given some time, but now, people need to get moved to safety.
Another call to action for Dallas, as another camp is being swept tomorrow, with the news that another sweep is occurring at a camp a couple of blocks away, as well. Bodies are needed. Show up, if you can. Info in the tweet below.
Sweeps are state violence, and the @CityOfDallas is violently harming a group of people who are mostly elderly and disabled.
Displacing unhoused people in the middle of this heat, while the Covid threat is up is violence.
Hope Marci and the gang are proud of themselves.
It’s been confirmed by the Office of Homeless Solutions that the @CityOfDallas is sweeping and destroying 3 camps, between Monday and Tuesday. Camps I have fed. Camps I have served as a street medic. Camps with people I care for. Nearly 100 people will be displaced, again.

1/4 RT & ACT NOW TO SAVE A LIFE
URGENT CALL TO ACTION from @DentonBailFund
Greg Corley is currently in the @DentonCountyTX jail in desperate need of life saving medical attention that has been denied for weeks - a jail that just failed inspection AGAIN after an inmate died AGAIN!
After spending the weekend supporting protests and other events, we spent today doing community care at the “Grab a Bite - Get Tested” health expo with The Afiya Center. Reproductive justice includes accessible and affordable care and testing for people with HIV and other STIs.
Some words from Gear, one of our medics: “It’s going to take all of us to stand against it. Just know that Street Medics – Dallas will do everything we can to keep the fighters on their feet for every round of this battle.”

Attention!
Due to Covid, we feel that it would be best to postpone our gathering, for at least a month, and maybe longer, depending on the numbers. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this causes for y’all, but it’s really not going to be safe for us to gather, like we had hoped.
