We've seen a pretty strong reduction over the years in the dog whistle bullshit that Jaylen Brown is getting and has gotten since he was a prospect. Brown is smarter than most people in and out of the league. That should be a good thing but it's not treated that way in his case.

I don't understand what it is about Brown that sparks this reaction when we genuinely have seen more progressive attitudes prevail in player evaluation in tandem with more and better diversity over the last 25 years.
