Not only does this massive event occur but let’s just say that Ben also “hits it out of the park” in a few more ways (next tweet)

Presented as a genius on par with Reed Richards, however with a fatal flaw, the Mad thinker is a criminally under utilized villain on the Fantastic Four’s gallery of villains that I would love to see a good story out of soon!

Half heist as the villains plan out, to the second, how they will get the FF out and themselves in to the Baxter building and part dungeon crawler as the FF must figure their way up to the 35th floor to get back their home, this issue is an all time great!

@comicavalcade I mean Kirby did help pioneer romance comics, so I wouldn't doubt it. So much of what fueled the Romita Sr. era of Spider-man was that he wanted to write a romance comic and not a superhero comic.

Today’s first Fantastic Four issue will be #14 as our lovely team must face off against the Sub-mariner yet again! (But this time, with a twist

This back and forth continues to keep the series fresh and frankly, I can’t always say I want Reed to win out 🤷🏼‍♂️

Namor also seems to represent a type of freedom for Sue that she doesn’t feel as the doting mother and wife of the FF that would be incredibly alluring. She is desired by Namor, not as a caregiver but as a partner and frankly an object of desire.

@JeffreyMHebert I hadn’t noticed either!
