@MikeCosper “Majorities do not decide what is right and wrong. Your conscious does. We should never, never bow down to the tyranny of a majority” Great Debaters
@MikeCosper I don’t think the majority of his voters believe any of it is true. If you don’t believe it…and you project what you want to be true 🤷♀️. I’m sad and I’m trying to figure out how I interact in a deep red state. I’m not bowing down.
@Brcremer I hear you. Maybe because there’s a lot of people who simply don’t or won’t believe any of those things happened. Their conscious won’t let them.
@Atticus59914029 Me either. Samantha Booke: “Majorities do not decide what is right or wrong. Your conscience does. So why should a citizen surrender his or her conscience to a legislature? For we must never, ever kneel down before the tyranny of a majority.” Great Debaters
@philvischer Oh good! I’m glad he’s going, can’t wait to hear what he thinks. For me, it deconstructs (or rewinds) humanity all the way back to creation…to a “beautiful day”….
@RabbiHarvey I’ve been listening to the @the_BEMA Podcast and I LOVE getting a better understanding of the context from the Hebrew text and Jewish perspective! (May not match yours exactly but it’s a start) No, you are absolutely loved!
In some instances the alternatives are worse (scavenging, sex work). America went thru a time when workers had to stand up for their rights…unionize, etc., these developing countries hopefully will too….
@shaungroves I appreciate this and do agree in many ways. But I hadn’t considered the alternatives…where do the workers go if the sweat shop closes? https://t.co/WU6UshRvGp
