Well that was a journey! This game was great, although it does have its flaws.
🟩 It had such a wide array of gameplay mechanics you are always learning something new.
🟩 The map and exploration are top tier, plenty of secrets and place of interest to find.
🟩 Visually stunning, runs smoothly with few glitches or immersive breaking bugs
🟥Story is very uninspiring, with very little interesting side characters
🟥 Game takes too long to get going, and the pacing is very slow throughout, could have been cut down a lot
In my opinion, if you understand what Crimson Desert is, you’ll have a great time with it. The best thing I could describe it as is an adult version of Zelda: Breathe Of The Wild. If that sounds like a game for you you will love it. However if you are someone who prefers a more story focused game, this game may be too slow paced and uninteresting for you. Personally I enjoyed it, however I felt as through I was done with this game about 80% of the way the through due to it being so long.
8.5/10
Call of Duty : Black ops 7 (Campaign)
(2025)
Belongs in the 🗑️🟥
The Call of Duty franchise has long been a staple of my gaming experience, particularly for its cinematic and engaging campaign modes. Year after year, I looked forward to immersive storytelling experiences before dedicating significant time to multiplayer.
However, the campaign in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 represents a significant decline in quality. The narrative lacks coherence and direction, making it difficult to follow or invest in. Character development is minimal, with little effort made to establish meaningful or memorable personalities. As a result, the emotional weight that once defined the series is largely absent.
Additionally, mission design—particularly boss encounters—feels uninspired and repetitive. These sequences lack creativity and fail to provide the sense of challenge or excitement expected from a franchise known for its high production value.
While Call of Duty continues to perform strongly in the multiplayer space, this installment’s campaign suggests a concerning shift away from the narrative depth and craftsmanship that once set the series apart.
Lazy lazy lazy.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League (2024)
Belongs in the 🗑️🟥
Rocksteady Studios, the team behind the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham Knight, once set the benchmark for superhero games. That legacy makes the outcome of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League all the more disappointing.
Marketed as a long-term live-service experience designed to engage players for years, the game instead saw a rapid decline in player interest within months of release. This raises serious questions about both its design direction and its ability to sustain meaningful engagement.
From a gameplay perspective, the experience often feels repetitive and lacking in depth. Mission structures quickly become formulaic, and progression leans heavily on grinding rather than skill or creativity. What should feel dynamic instead becomes monotonous, turning gameplay into a routine rather than an engaging challenge.
The boss encounters are particularly underwhelming. Where previous Rocksteady titles delivered memorable and mechanically distinct battles, this game offers encounters that feel uninspired and lacking in innovation. As a result, key moments that should elevate the experience instead fall flat.
For fans of DC and the Arkham series, the game may also feel tonally inconsistent with what came before. The handling of iconic characters and the shift away from the narrative-driven strengths of earlier titles can be jarring, especially for those expecting a continuation of that legacy.
Overall, while there are elements that may appeal to some players, the game struggles to deliver the depth, creativity, and longevity it promised. For many, it represents a missed opportunity rather than a worthy successor to Rocksteady’s previous work.

Saints Row (2022) :
belongs in the 🗑️ 🟥
The 2022 reboot of Saints Row serves as a clear example of the disconnect that can arise between developers and their audience.
Once regarded as a strong competitor to the Grand Theft Auto franchise, the Saints Row series has, in this instance, significantly diverged from the elements that originally defined its appeal. The reboot attempts to modernize the experience, but in doing so, it introduces themes and character motivations that feel misaligned with the franchise’s identity. The shift toward more grounded concerns—such as financial struggles and student debt—comes across as tonally inconsistent with the series’ traditionally exaggerated and satirical style.
From a gameplay perspective, the title feels outdated. Core mechanics such as combat, driving, and mission design lack meaningful innovation and fail to meet the standards set by contemporary open-world games. This is particularly noticeable when compared to earlier titles like Grand Theft Auto IV, which offered a more immersive and dynamic world despite being released over a decade earlier.
While the open world itself is not without merit, it ultimately feels underdeveloped. The environment lacks the depth, interactivity, and sense of life that players have come to expect from the genre, further diminishing overall engagement.
In summary, the reboot struggles to balance modernization with the core identity of the franchise. As a result, it fails to resonate with long-time fans and does not sufficiently innovate to attract a new audience, leaving it as a disappointing entry in what was once a distinctive and competitive series.

Crimson Desert (2026)
8 / 10 🌟 🟩
If you’re looking for a game packed with exploration, varied combat mechanics, and puzzles, Crimson Desert is a strong contender in what’s shaping up to be a stacked year for gaming.
The best way to describe it is a darker, grittier take on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild—but with more deliberate, calculated combat and a much larger open world filled with things to discover. After 60+ hours, I still feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface, which says a lot about the scale and density of the world.
Where the game struggles, though, is in its story. Throughout my time playing, I often found myself losing interest in the main plot. It never really gave me a strong reason to keep pushing forward—there weren’t many compelling questions or emotional hooks pulling me in.
The characters didn’t help much either. They felt fairly generic and didn’t offer anything memorable to latch onto, which made it even harder to stay invested in the narrative.
That said, the gameplay carries the experience. Exploration, combat variety, and sheer scale make this a really solid game overall. I’d definitely recommend it—especially for hardcore gamers who value gameplay depth over story.

No matter where you come down on Michael Jackson as a person, this biopic is entirely the opposite of what he was, both as an iconic performer and a controversial tabloid figure.

Crimson Desert (2026)
First impressions :
After spending the first few hours with the game, I’ve come away generally impressed—particularly with its visual fidelity and overall sense of scale. The world feels expansive and detailed, creating a strong initial sense of immersion.
In terms of comparison, the experience so far is best described as a more mature, grounded take on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, combined with elements reminiscent of Red Dead Redemption 2 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It blends open-ended exploration with a darker tone and a more realistic presentation.
The control scheme is notably unconventional and may feel unfamiliar at first. However, I would strongly recommend taking the time to adjust rather than dismissing it early on, as it appears to be designed with a specific gameplay depth in mind.
Overall, my initial impression is very positive. While there is clearly a learning curve, the game shows strong potential, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it develops over time.
