The story of how this came to be really is one of true passion. The Steam Deck native build was initiated by a single engineer who really wanted a smoother version of the game on Steam Deck and so he started working on it after hours. When we tried it out, we were all surprised by how good it felt and so it didn't take much to convince us to put our shoulders behind it and get it released. It's this type of pure passion for their craft that makes me fall in love with my developers over and over again. Considering myself very lucky to have people like him on my team. Try it out!

Theres a right way to do it: Battle & Black Knight.
And theres a wrong way to do it: 06, Rivals 1 & 2.

When Sonic has literally nothing to do with the plot or the main villain it sucks. Sonic should have ties to whats going on even if the Adventure isn't about him.

If I’m being serious for a moment here, I actually do personally think that, usually, the best way to frame Sonic stories is to have him intruding in *someone else’s* story.

And his appearance is what facilitates change for the actual protagonist of whatever that story is.

Feeling good today about where we are with BG3. Patch 8 got a lot of people playing again. It took a lot of development effort but I'm happy we did it.

With mod support thriving , I think the game will now continue to do well for quite some time. It gives us room to focus on making our next big thing as good as we can and that focus is more than welcome. We've got big shoes to fill.
