@finejuli That's just the thing that has to be appreciated here, though. Most families *don't* have the space or the resources. They were already living down to the wire; the only alternative is leaving children & grandchildren without shelter; and everybody is going to suffer for it.

@finejuli COVID-19 just arrived in my folks' tiny & economically destitute town and this precise thing has got me worried sick. Lack of space is a big part of why poor high density neighborhoods (trailer parks, public housing) are spreading and dying faster.
