The fact that we are committing genocide in Gaza, means Jews need to grapple not only with our current actions, but also the genocidal elements in our traditions which feed them:

1) Deuteronomy 7:1–2 On the Canaanites: "you must utterly destroy them. Make no covenant with them and show them no mercy."

2) Deuteronomy 20:16–17 On the Canaanites: "in the cities of these peoples… you shall save alive nothing that breathes."

3) Exodus 17:14–16 On the Amalekites: "I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven."

4) Exodus 23:23–24, 27–33 On the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, Jebusites: "I will blot them out."

5) Numbers 31:17–18 On the Midanites: "Kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man… but all the young girls who have not known man, keep alive for yourselves."

6) Deuteronomy 2:34 On the Amorites: "We devoted to destruction every city — men, women, and children; we left no survivor."

7) Deuteronomy 3:3–6 On Bashan: "We devoted them to destruction… sixty cities."

8) Deuteronomy 13:12–16 On Israelites who worshipped another god: "Put the inhabitants of that city to the sword, devoting it to destruction, all who are in it and its cattle."

9) 1 Samuel 22:18–19 On Israelite priests disliked for some reason: "Nob, the city of the priests, he put to the sword — both men and women, children and infants."

10) 1 Chronicles 4:41–43 The Meunites: "They destroyed them… and defeated the remnant of the Amalekites who had escaped."

11) Esther 9:5–16 Persians the Israelites did not like: "the Jews "struck all their enemies… seventy-five thousand."

There are at least 44 instances of genocidal behavior referenced in the Hebrew Bible. It generally seems to be the preferred biblical method of dealing with enemies, especially weak and defeated ones. This is a legacy we, as Jews, have to come to grips with. Our religion commands genocide. We must rebuke this part of our traditions.

The argument made by the copper here – that police don't get to choose which laws to enforce and which ones not to – is complete nonsense.

Police make an active decision not to storm Glastonbury and arrest everyone in possession of cannabis, as they know it would be a disproportionate use of their time and resources.

They choose not to throw all their resources at tracking down bike thieves in London, as they know there are more serious crimes they should prioritise.

They choose not to throw all their resources into enforcing the hosepipe ban, as they know it would be disproportionate and ineffective.

They could also make a decision not to have 50+ officers forcibly arresting old age pensioners for holding up signs.

Israel Attempts to Conceal Evidence of Genocide
Human rights organizations have warned that the Israeli occupation, with the participation of Israeli civilian companies, is carrying out a large-scale and systematic operation to remove and transport the rubble of neighborhoods and facilities it destroyed in the Gaza Strip from areas under its military control to locations outside the territory. The organizations say this is being done without publicly accounting for the amount of debris removed, without independent oversight, and before investigative committees have been allowed to examine the aftermath of what they describe as Israel’s genocide in the Gaza Strip.

A few days ago, Hamas announced, for the first time, that it was prepared to place its weapons under the authority of a Palestinian body with international oversight.

Perhaps the language was carefully chosen to preserve dignity, reassure supporters, or frame the concession in terms they could accept.

But the political meaning was clear.

The proposal signaled a willingness to remove Hamas’ weapons from direct use in the conflict and place them under another authority.

That was one of Israel’s central demands.

I know it. They know it. Israel knows it.

And yet the bombing did not stop.
Yesterday was another day soaked in blood.

Eighteen more people were killed. Our families are still being burned alive.

The bodies of our loved ones are still being pulled from the rubble, torn apart, charred, and unrecognizable, while the world watches through television screens before scrolling on to the next headline.

I no longer know what this war is asking of us.

How much more flesh must burn?
How many more mothers must bury their children?
How many more fathers must apologize because they could not save the people they love?
How many more graves are enough?

O God, We have reached the end of our strength.

If there is mercy left for Gaza, let it descend now.

Because the world did not merely fail us.

It stood still while we disappeared.

An incredible story is currently rocking Israel. It started when the Central Command chief of the IDF put a settler in executive detention to stop him from committing awful crimes and the defense minister threatened to remove him for it on live TV. Here is the play by play:

1) On the night of 12–13 March 2026, settlers raided Khirbet Humsa which is a Palestinian Bedouin village. One settler involved, Tal Yinon Dardik, tied a Palestinian's genitals with a zip-tie and paraded around the village.

2) The Israeli system refused to try him, but the Shun Bet felt he was a threat so they asked for executive detention for him. All he received was a restriction order, not detention. It was his fourth since 2015, when the first was issued to him at 17. He has hospitalized several Palestinians with brutal assaults.

3) Central Command chief Avi Bluth approved it. He is a settler, who was appointed because he supports settlement expansion and settler terrorism. He is one of the main architects of the wave of violence in the West Bank. But even he thought this was too much.

4) Dardik was put in a cell because the court could nto release him to Kfar Tarpion, an unauthorised outpost. He refused to be anywhere else. So he was arrested for going back. Defense minister Katz visited this terrorist in the cell. Katz announced that the order would not be renewed.

5) Bluth and the Jerusalem District Attorney went to court to get it renewed. They feel Dardik is a genuine security threat.

6) Katz went on Israeli TV, fascist Channel 14 to be exact, and announced that Bluth would be replaced and who that replacement would be. All because Bluth wanted one guy who zip ties a Palestinians penis to be restricted from going into Palestinian villages. Now Katz denies the replacement is because of this. But he linked it explicitly.

Bluth was the most pro-settlement Central Commander ever. He is behind all the crimes, building settlements, allowing settler terror, having the IDF back them up. Even that was not enough because he did ONE THING the settlers did not like. The IDF has become the tool of the settlers. Anyone standing up to them will be replaced.
