@muraxvv Not what I meant. Though its an old tweet, I still stand by it.
I more so meant that if someone in 5 years time asks me what I do, I can answer without any hesitation or fear of not feeling 100% "proud" of what I do
Make $10k/m with dropshipping!
Make $50k/m with this boring business model!
I can't be the only one who's tired of this
Young people, even teenagers
Have become so obsessed with making millions
That they stopped caring whether their business actually makes them fulfilled
Or if it's even future-proof
I've edited a lot of videos lately for these "Iman Gadzhi wannabe's", if you wanna call them that
And there's a pattern which I've noticed
99% of the business models that these people teach are boring crap like dropshipping, vintage reselling, day trading, or faceless videos
Sure, if your only goal is to make money, without caring what your job actually is, then go ahead
But there is one guy whose video I edited that stuck out to me
He talked about his story
About how he struggled and climbed up from the bottom
Going through various positions
Meeting many people, making new experiences and even having fun after a busy workday
And after years of struggle and new experiences,
Starting his own, successful business
And why his story stuck out to me is actually his business model:
Sales.
He uses sales to help people,
To help businesses
And not just to upsell a product and get it from point A to point B all from your bedroom,
Which may seem cool at first,
But this comes without making fun experiences,
Or meeting new, interesting people
These people are constantly preaching "fast success"
"Make $10k/m within 2 weeks with this boring ass business"
Again, if all you care about is money,
Then that's fine
But that's just not for me, and surely I'm not the only one
I want to build real experiences, build real connections, visit real places
And not just do everything "from the comfort of my own bedroom"
For me, true success comes after years of struggle
Not after 2 weeks of testing bullshit products
And if this doesn't bring me millions, then that's fine
But at least I'm doing something that makes me feel fulfilled
What are your thoughts on this?
