@WiHiFB had one of their best seasons in the last 25 years and made the MD State Semifinals last season. After going through a few uneven years for a five-year stretch between 2014-2019, (and even then some programs would love their "uneven") the program has largely continued to be consistent over the last 7 years. Despite losing their HC Isaiah Taylor to Northern VA for a job a few seasons ago, the rest of the staff stayed and have provided great continuity led by James McMurdo who moved up to HC.

-The staff has plenty of experience in the Bayside and within WiHi. The biggest factor is the staff has a good understanding of the challenges its players face but also have set standards for accountability. The addition of Meintzer after his Head Coaching stint is very valuable. It's not easy to remain consistent especially within Salisbury where you have two other schools around the corner you're competing with constantly. These guys have done it and added to their resume with their run in the playoffs last season
