@Trakin_ My home brew world is set in Old Arcadia, based loosely on 1700s New Orleans where guns and trains are new and magic is old. I wanted to evoke a name that made you think of New Orleans without outright calling it that, and that also sounded old and mysterious.

@TheWillyboo i can’t explain why but it feels way easier as a DM to nerf overpowered stuff than fix underpowered stuff in terms of dialing it in to what fits the campaign (mine, anyway)
