@teesider61 Of Auckland charge from 12% to 70% for $20 arrive at destination 30mins north of whangarei with 10%... Total cost of journey is $42 plus 380km of ruc at 7cents per km = $29... So 71 total for 380... This would have been less if I could have left home with 100% charge.

@teesider61 I can recount my Taurnaga to whangarei with 2 adults 3 kids.... 1 leave for work at 7 drove tauranga to Cambridge and back to tauranga get home with 50 percent battery. Pack kids in leaf (62kwh) and drive to hautapu $22 for 25kwh... Leave and drive to dairy flat other side.....

@OcklestonG @LesserMegadeath @Dave_Q Appreciate your reply. FYI I'm all in about to have 30 panels and a battery installed I will be grid tied for selling my excess power and drawing from the grid as I need to. For example at night when I charge my car.

@TonyBenn33 @jefftonna1 @KiwiEV Hey Tony serviced all my cars from age 16... Leaf uses regen to slow down, so discs barely get touched and only at below 10kph... In previous E90 and Audi would have burned through pads and new set of discs by now. I know my car just fine appreciate your concern
