A great article from a good friend and outstanding teacher about what resulted when he leaned into our school's TfT throughlines (essential student outcomes) in his AP English course. A vivid snapshot of Christian education done well. https://t.co/lhbSFjhmva
A piece I wrote about the nagging voice in my head that caused me to disrupt some of my plans for my US History class and try something new, different, and deeper instead. A story of leaning, in my own awkward, hesitant way, into formational learning.

Well done, Dr. Heinsch! Not only are you teaching the next generation about the New Testament, you’re also deeply involved in increasing the scholarship in your field!
Today’s #facultyfriday celebrates Bible teacher Dr. Ryan Heinsch! Dr. Heinsch has a PhD in the New Testament, and says "The hallmark of a good Bible student is a student who values learning, is curious about the Bible, and wants to grow deeper in their understanding of it."
I had the privilege of teaching and coaching Mr. Haag when he was one of our students. Now I have the privilege of watching him teach and mentor our students including my own sons.
#facultyfriday. Today we celebrate science and PE teacher and SWCHS Class of 2007 alum, Jarryd Haag. He is the kind of PE teacher everyone wishes they had as he helps his students "chase the challenges they set for themselves"!
