New long read! (and I mean long read because I've had to split it in two)
2013 is really the Wendepunkt for Swindon, and with the help of those who were there, I've tried to find out what it was like. Enjoy the Fall of Rome Part One: The End #STFC https://t.co/0YquGTnHyL
I actually started on this project almost a year ago but the topic came back up, so I am very pleased to have been able to finish it
We have so many brilliant young players at the moment, how can we get the best out of them? #STFC

The last 18 games have been hugely different to the first 18, so I decided to break down the three stages of this season and see how Swindon have improved so markedly #STFC

My last game for @AdverSport this afternoon as Swindon take on Notts County.
No Harry Smith is the biggest talking point as Town switch to what looks like a two in midfield.
A win today will push Swindon up into 18th.

Another fun part of Flying Without Wiings was that I got to talk with Raphael Rossi about such a crazy career and the time I had a chat with a taxi driver in Porto about him #STFC
Spent the last month reporting on businesses gutted by flooding, a death caused by carehome failings, 'ninjas' scaling car parks, leisure centre plans and more.
But local journalism needs more support to survive! You can subscribe for only £6 for 6 months

Ambulance workers have lined the streets of Swindon in an emotional sendoff to their former colleague❤️
You can find the full coverage of this touching story over on @swindonadver
Second, AI Reporter (part time) - Brand new role! Looking for someone who, three days a week, wants to help craft local news stories with the help of AI copy writing services, to expand our audience size even further. Hybrid or remote potential too

Two exciting roles now available at the Adver!
First, News Reporter- Thanks to a promotion we are looking for the next ambitious trainee reporter to cut their teeth in the industry. It's a great training ground and bags of fun.

Okay, so I was going to maintain a dignified silence on Marvin. Then this was published: "To me, some of the local reporting on Marvin’s tenure could very much be described as racist." Absolutely no. The public bullying I experienced that day was abysmal. https://t.co/ii4Dm4FXDF
Leaving drinks for the departing Neil Beck who I have thoroughly enjoyed working under and who has been a great source of support for me and my career, so will be sorely missed.
It was great to spend some time with @swindonadver faces past and present as well.
Lovely to sit down and chat with Daniel the editor of the @swindonadver.
We discussed how to get more people involved in journalism and potential collaborations with business and education providers across Swindon.
