It feels like the folks who keep pushing AI at artists and the folks who don't understand consent are one and the same. Artists keep saying no, but the reply is always, "It'll be good for you! You'll like it if you just go with it." AI art is theft.

Every time I see the argument that people can get the art they want with AI because they can’t can’t draw I’m just left thinking… what do you think I did for 20 years? Just woke up with the ability to draw? No, I busted my ass learning how to.

@aKatrinaSchu It feels like that *should* be the last thing they want. And even if it’s only about the bottom line, they likely wouldn’t have lost you if they’d been transparent up front.

And before anyone tries to say that “at least it helps folks who are already married,” have you seen how riddled with loopholes our system is? One judge says “this obscure law/case means that, technically, your marriage was never valid,” and your protections are gone.

Hi. Can we stop calling this a same-sex marriage bill? All it codifies is that private businesses and religious orgs don’t have to be cool with it if they don’t want to, and states can still write laws against same-sex marriage.

It protects everyone *except* those seeking a same-sex marriage. Seriously. Large news organizations: do your job, and do it better. This is disingenuous, and I’d call it lazy if it didn’t take so much effort to ignore that this bill is a steaming pile.
