The Employment and Trade Union Rights (Dismissal and Re-engagement) Bill was voted down on Second Reading today.

I missed it when it was published but for background on the Bill and what it sought to do, see this excellent briefing by @shalchi_a.

This paper provides a really helpful and comprehensive overview of the Judicial Review and Courts Bill.

🚨 Personal news

After 3 years at the @commonslibrary I will be leaving in mid-September. I will be moving to Thailand to join @tillekegibbins.

Really excited for this move and the chance to live in same city as my partner after several years working in different countries.
