@FlippinBatsPod@BenVerlander David Wright
Hamilton brings to mind Dwight Gooden, Darryl Strawberry.
deGrom leads to Tim Lincecum and Johan Santana.
How can you not what if a healthier Ken Griifey Jr and Mike Trout? Historically, what if Koufax and Gehrig weren't stopped early?
@MetsAvenue@martinonyc Winning is most important.
The HR record matters much less if Pete leaves. Just a matter of time for Soto to chase it down. Lindor would have a shot at getting there first, probably needing to average about 25/year over the next 5 years. Nimmo likely to fall short of 252.
@threeinningfan@elizabenn@SNYtv Great interview. I can't get SNY outside of games and pre-game/post-game here, so I only get to see the occasional clips of BNNY on social media.
@David2837784981@BrewCrewEthan Inherited runners don't count towards ERA, but they do count towards a blown save.
I'm not losing any sleep over a blown save with super weak contact. Nice job manufacturing a run by the AL. But I don't think that's what the batters had in mind.
@danmorse96@HowieRose That game had it all. Ray Knight ejected for fighting Eric Davis after a hard slide into 3rd. Kevin Mitchell also ejected. No bench left. Carter had to play 3rd. Roger McDowell and Jesse Orosco rotated between the mound and the outfield multiple times.
@TheMaskedMet@MrFoola Wasn't really much he could do. Sprint back to first and without Nimmo passing him? Then he's on first and Nimmo is out. Either way, you are left with a runner on first and a runner is out. Bad play aside, Nimmo is the better baserunner, so Soto was the right one to take the out.
@BigRigMets @MLBNetwork Agreed. That's gotta be it. He is available to be in studio, and is one of very few players they could hype like this for Team USA.
