Did you spot us in the latest series of Clarkson's Farm? 👀
Seeing our friends at @ceresrural helping Clarkson's team make land use decisions with Land App is great. Clean mapping underpinned by @OrdnanceSurvey data is providing clarity to their diverse planning.

Proud to be helping steer Sainsbury’s as they move to increase nature across their supply chain; farming in a sustainable way works for both nature and mitigation of risk to adverse weather
Our partnership with @sainsburys is now in its second year.
We aim to ensure their farmers have the tools to measure and manage habitat creation and food production. Together, we're not just envisioning a better future; we're actively building it.

@philsturgeon@ex_cowboy@thelandapp Ah, yes Wales seems to be an even higher hurdle. Got some things brewing so might reach out to you via email over the next week or two. Keen to identify the blockers and iron them out
We've been working with Land App to develop the England Woodland Creation Offer Checker Tool.
In our latest blog post find out from @thelandapp how this new digital mapping tool will help to boost woodland creation.

@philsturgeon@ex_cowboy@philsturgeon we have begun some conversations with Forestry Commission /// Land App to try reduce this complexity. Anecdotally it takes ~9 months for these grants to be accepted after the application too. Needs to be way more accessible if we are going to see uptake @thelandapp
A photo of one of our habitat restoration sites from last week.
The brash is pinned in to stop erosion of the bank but will also provide homes for invertebrates and cover for fish.
Willow is included, this will sprout into new trees to make the structure alive and permenant.
In my lifetime, these types of projects are going to make a huge difference to our landscapes. The more we can do to suppress grazing pressure and allow regeneration to natural occur, the more benefits we will be rewarded with from our land #regeneration#biodiversity
A remote woodland scattered through Glen Loyne in the northwest Highlands is home to some of Scotland's oldest Scots pine trees 🌲 But this precious remnant of Caledonian pinewood was recently at risk of being lost forever.
Learn how we're protecting this irreplaceable habitat 👇

@philsturgeon@CarolineLucas I think a cleaner funding mechanism for farmers and land managers to “showcase” some of their areas of natural prowess (such as wildlife meadows that are or on or near footpaths), while maintaining areas of private land for nature is a better balance than pure Right to Roam.
A cluster group of farmers in the River Mun area heard @ecologycoder and @j_gilroy1 explain some simple measures they can take to improve biodiversity. @N_Rivers_Trust & @DanGeerah of @thelandapp showed how farming, science, funding & tech can work together for great results
