@WNYC Re island in Central Park, Lenape word for "turtle" is "tulpe." Best way to honor the heritage is to keep it alive and use the language. Interestingly, the word for island is "menatey." Lenape called the island of Manhattan "Manhatta," which means "island of many hills."

5 of 6. @BigTen The Wisc player at 1 was actually WINNING 3-2 in the first set at she got injured. As I understand she was officially cleared to play against @NUWildcatTennis. Until she was injured an objective observer would have given her every bit the chance of winning.

4 of 6. @BigTen , according to rules , isn't moving players ONE SPOT for such strategic reasons perfectly legal? in fact, @NUWildcatTennis actually made a similar line-up switch IN THE SAME MATCH. I’m sure it never would have crossed Wisco's mind to protest had they lost.

3 of 6. Also, as I understand, the Wisconsin player in the 1 spot had an UNDEFEATED COLLEGIATE RECORD against the player @NUWILDCATTennis put at 1. (Please correct me if I'm wrong) @BigTen.. further reason why the strategic decision to switch 1 and 2 on Wisconsin made sense.

2 of 6. Wisc. switched 1 & 2 spots for purely strategic reasons based on matchup because @NUWildcatTennis PUTS THEIR ONLY RANKED PLAYER AT 2 (i.e., line-up stacking every week!) @BigTen isn't it logical to want to play iyour best player against the best player on the other team..

It seems too late to do anything about Coach Pollard’s and @NUWildcatTennis ‘s disappointing lack of sportspersonship or the @BigTen decision, my only goal is to make a clear-headed, fact-based appeal to the unfair protest process so this kind of sad episode never happens again.
