Wrote a quick and dirty tool in Rust to compare RPC latency between centralized providers Helius and QN and the up and coming privacy enabled decentralized Solana RPC network $WHISTLE.. I must say I was quiet impressed. obviously this is just day 1 but I expect the numbers to be waayyyy better for WHISTLE as the network grows.. Well done @typostruct .. @Whistle_Ninja.. code -> https://t.co/5IebNddIuW
I have BAD NEWS- it will at least take another year to automate software engineering
LLMs are still all over the place, MCP is too brittle and we need more robust infrastructure 🤷♀️
This will be music to real programmers
Significant progress in AI and Robotics this week.
So, I summarized everything from xAI, Perplexity, Hugging Face, Figure, OpenAI, Microsoft, Google, Daxo Robotics, UC Berkeley, and more.
Here's everything you need to know and how to make sense out of it:
We’re rolling out more updates to Claude Code.
First, the GitHub Actions integration is now available to Pro and Max plan users (in addition to pay-as-you-go API users).
🚨 BREAKING: Google just released a set of free AI courses.
Zero fees. No prior knowledge needed.
Here are 11 courses you definitely don’t want to miss:
@godofprompt It is good, but it can hallucinate and guess stuff if the problem it’s solving is particularly hard, and you haven’t told it explicitly not to guess
#AI puzzle challenge - for the below prompt, the only LLM that solved it was o3-PRO:
"Below is an encoded conversation between a waiter at an English cafe, and a customer. Can you translate this encoded version of the conversation into English: L.O. L.O. Been spending some time with Claude Code. It’s a game-changer BUT will the companies I work for allow it? They are obsessed with IP, complex data regulations, and I guess they’ll only allow devs to use it once they lose all their existing talent.
Claude Code just revealed that it's used by 115k developers and has changed 195M lines of code last week.
With many assumptions, this implies a $130M ARR business with $1k+ per dev per yr.
I'm not just hyping this. Claude Code Opus is a junior software engineer.
@oscarle_x@cursor_ai Cursor is just a wrapper. Go ger gemini-cli, totally open source, with excellent tools, flows and then fork it, add open-router adapter to it boom ! Now use any model you want to do any kind of coding.
Claude Code pro tip:
Ask it to use Gemini CLI with its 1M context window and free plan in non-interactive mode to research your codebase, find bugs, and build a plan for Claude to action
