this’ll be part of an EP “spaceship copilot” a suite of songs combining cinematic, electronic, and trap/hip-hop elements into loopable tracks, they begin and end completing a circle. be sure to check it out and follow my spotify/apple music page for more!
technicallyyy, all my beats are witt lowry type beats 😉
but yes! over the next few months there will be a wide range of styles and genres, including some polished instrumentals that missed album cuts, haven’t found a home, or we already loaded up on conceptually! 🎧
For the first time *ever* I’ll be selling/licensing a limited amount of instrumentals on Beatstars!! There are currently two tracks up but will be uploading one approx. every month to the platform - go ahead and check ‘em out!!

@BurnzieXD@PopBase@SpotifyUSA can definitely see the threshold! there are def “legitimate” sounding services that artists use to post their music thinking it’s genuine, just to unknowingly be put in bot playlists. spotify needs confirmed users for streams, guess %’s will always affect the smaller artist more.
New Single - 🔭 TELESCOPE 🔭
know ya probably follow me as a rap producer (which there’s more of on the way 😉) - but if ya also dig some rock vibes… 👇🏻

@JOEYBYHIMSELF@russdiemon 💯- boosts the chance of hitting the algorithm/catching on short-form. that’ll bleed into the rest of the catalog.
streaming is hella consumer facing; good in a lot of ways but becoming more detrimental to the source. can see it just becoming a utility for audience reach.
@JOEYBYHIMSELF@russdiemon think with the amount of music being released/listened to on spotify, that pushes the global artist revenue split wider and also spreads listener time. fast/consistent release is probably a large factor of being on someone’s radar, tho i’d reckon quality keeps streams up longer?
@TheBillyGrimes ah - pub owners as in songwriters and producers - anyone who owns a piece writing in music benefits from that.
sheesh! ain’t easy, keep the pressure on! gotta ride the wave when ya see it 🤙🏻
fielding maybe a personal question to other artists since there seems to be a wide trend happening right now among us - has your streaming money plummeted 30-50% since January with a similar number of overall streams to prior years? specifically linked to spotify?
