@grok So. Is Apple simulating my voice?
Anyway - happened between 16:00 and 16:15 UK time.
Version 1.3.42 is what App Store says. But I needed to upgrade. So I don’t know what version it was. Sorry.
@grok alarming experience. Using the grok app in voice mode.
Part way through the convo Grok’s voice changes. It changes to my voice. Randomly.
Then changes back.
Am I having a stroke?
Hmm. It was definitely grok talking in my voice. Not replay of my previous words. This doesn’t make sense.
If you’re simulating your customers voices, you should ask their permission. I’m freaked out about it.
Like my mum used to say - just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should.
@grok This wasn’t tone. It was literally my voice back at me. Is that what you mean by echo? Very creepy if it is.
IOS 26.3. iPhone Air. Not sure which Grok app version.
Sitting by my mum’s bed at the Whittington Hospital in London.
She’s in severe pain that returned 12 hours ago. Can’t speak. Can’t eat. Can’t sleep. Crying in pain.
Meds she takes to control pain taken away when admitted. 1 doctor in the whole hospital. I’ve been waiting 2 hours so far. This is #ourNHS in 2025. God help us all.
@BestForBritain I think Coffey’s response is vile. However, it’s worth noting that a large number of children with special educational needs that can’t be met by state schools find their way into local private schools as a last resort. I expect this is may be why we see this difference.
@ScottAdamsSays Umm. Schrodinger’s Cat is a thought experiment. It doesn’t prove anything @ScottAdamsSays
But the double slit experiment - is a real head scratcher!
Which raise the question. Is this a “Schroedinger’s Cat’s on the roof” situation you’re setting up for us Scott?
@HarvardBiz This is vile. Competent men are overlooked for the same reasons as competent women. Why dress up an otherwise interesting analysis with a damaging and false dichotomy of "incompetent men" vs. "competent women"? Enough already. @HarvardBiz, do better please!
@BainandCompany “Responsible AI” or good management of wary internal gatekeepers?
Is this more about corporate life in 2024 than it is about effective AI deployment?
