Mike Rogers and his campaign have been hammering Abdul El-Sayed in ads and posts over his mother once working decades ago for a Muslim charity based in Missouri, Islamic American Relief Agency (IARA), that was raided in 2004 and shut down, labeled as a terrorist entity by U.S. govt. But his mom was never even accused or charged, let alone found guilty. Ironically, it was a Republican Congressman from Michigan, Rep. Mark Siljander, who was found guilty for helping the same Muslim charity and sentenced to prison. Siljander was later pardoned by Trump.

Pedersen won 13 PBA Tour titles during his Hall of Fame playing career, then transitioned to television where he became the longest-tenured broadcaster in PBA history.

The paper has possessed editorial independence for decades. To preserve that independence, and prevent the Pentagon from censoring, Congress passed a law in 1991 creating an independent ombudsman, answerable solely to the Senate and the House.

America's brave servicemembers swore an oath to defend the Constitution. They deserve the free and independent press our Founders fought for 250 years ago, not Pravda-style propaganda.
