Bryce Cotton embodies what it means to be a Providence College Friar more than any player in the history of the program. Congratulations to him and Friar legend @John_Linehan12 on their hall of fame inductions!
Great list. Here are my top 5 US bars:
1. Beachcomber - Cape Cod, MA
2. Ocean Mist- SK, RI
3. J.J Foley’s - Boston, MA
4. Billy’s - Bronx, NY (sadly)
5. City Works- Pittsburgh, PA
NEWS: Georgetown transfer guard Malik Mack has committed to Providence, a source told @On3.
The 6-2 junior averaged 13.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game this season.

@ChrisCotillo@MKEmond He is great at recruiting individual talent and probably worth a bench spot for that alone. His struggles at Providence were primarily holistic roster-building and in=game coaching, and you'd think Malone & co. could fill in the gaps. Good hire and happy for him
@AllWrightFan My personal opinion is that all pros should be ineligible but I don’t understand drawing a line where certain pros are eligible and certain ones are not
I’ll take this a step further. I don’t see what makes the NBA so special, legally speaking. Why is signing an NBA contract the point of no return when you can play in any other pro league in the world and return to college basketball?
Hot take that I’ve come around to:
G League players (who did not play in college or the NBA) are no different than overseas pros who come to college after a few years.
