Castle views, old stone streets, and the kind of city that makes you slow down a little. Heidelberg felt like stepping into a Romantic-era painting tonight.

Finally doing the full Lake Como villa tour properly… Bellini writing operas, Liszt arriving with scandal, Verdi escaping society, and somewhere between all that, George Clooney quietly raising property values for the rest of humanity. 🇮🇹🌊🏛️
Lake Como Part II: Villa Melzi.
The kind of place where composers came for inspiration… and occasionally left with a broken heart, a scandal, or an opera. 🇮🇹🎭🌊

🚢 The Vasa Ship: armed with 64 cannons, royal ambition, and zero people willing to tell the king, “Uh… this might tip.”
It sank 20 minutes into its maiden voyage but after 333 years underwater, it surfaced nearly perfectly preserved.
Now it’s the world’s most majestic shipwreck
